I think it does work for Mildmay--though in a very specific sense, for all the times he thinks Felix is ashamed of being seen with him. :< That's just me, though. Thanks for pointing me towards it!

It's more of a 'at the end of the day, this is why I put up with you' Mildmay than his angstier self, I think. Considering the amount of depressing music I listen to, it's surprising I don't have any Angsty!Mildmay songs, hmm. *must work on this*

Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk is totally a Felix song, though >>

Okay, I can see where you're coming from. I think I like your interpretation better, actually. :P Given how much time Felix has spent needling him and picking fights, I like the thought of Mildmay reminding himself why its worth sticking around.

I must, however, unanimously agree with you about the Felix song. :D

With a brother like Felix, I imagine he has to daily XD Looking through my albums, this is a very Kholkis-Mildmay song, and this one feels very reminiscent of how Mildmay treats his relationships, earlier in the books.

Hahaha, thank you. Most of Rufus' drug-related songs are more Felixesque. Also, Sanssouci.

Oooh, I like the Kolkhis-Mildmay (or rather, Kolkhis-->Mildmay?). The second one is all kinds of sad, I can see where it's like early!Mildmay.

I'm not sure I see the Sanssouci connection, though. *squints* Perhaps you could explain your reasoning?
